Dog Care Specialist
At Airdrie Puppy Pals, we are always looking to connect with passionate individuals interested in working with dogs. Our Dog Care Specialist role is an active, hands-on position in our dog daycare, supporting group play, monitoring behavior, and creating a safe, positive experience for every dog in our care.
No formal experience is required. We provide paid training, mentoring, and ongoing support. What matters most is a positive attitude, comfort working with dogs of all sizes, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise structured group play
Guide enrichment and one-on-one activities
Monitor dog behavior and group dynamics
Take daily photos and videos
Greet clients at drop-off and pick-up
Write personalized daily updates for dog parents
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
Work collaboratively with team members
What We’re Looking For
18 years of age or older
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong communication and customer service skills
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
This is a physically active role involving walking, lifting up to 30 lbs, stairs, and extended standing.
