Private Training

We offer one-on-one private training for dogs of all ages working on everyday training skills. This includes welcoming a new puppy, leash manners, coming when called, and building good habits at home.

Private training is offered in your home or at Airdrie Puppy Pals, depending on your goals and what works best for your dog.

What is Private Training?

Private training is one-on-one training focused on you and your dog. It offers guidance and support, whether you have clear goals or are not sure where to start.

Private training sessions may include:

  • Training that moves at your dog’s pace

  • Help figuring out what skills to focus on first

  • Lessons based on your dog’s needs and your daily life

  • Flexible settings, such as your home or at Airdrie Puppy Pals

  • Ongoing guidance and feedback to support progress

Private training can be helpful on its own or alongside group classes. It can also be a comfortable starting point for families who want personal support before joining other training options.

What Private Training Can Help With

Private training offers one-on-one support for everyday training skills and building good habits over time. Sessions can focus on learning new skills, improving current ones, or helping you figure out where to start.

Private training can help with:

  • Potty training and setting up daily routines

  • Teething and puppy nipping

  • Door manners, such as waiting instead of rushing out

  • Walking politely on a loose leash

  • Learning and practicing cues like sit, down, stay, and place

  • Working on jumping

  • Improving focus around everyday distractions

  • Help you decide where to start

  • Answer questions about scheduling and next steps

Private training sessions are offered one-on-one, either in your home or at Airdrie Puppy Pals, in the Airdrie and surrounding area. Sessions can also be booked directly through our calendar under Minding Our Manners → Private Manners Training.
