Jr. Puppy Class is a learn-and-play program for friendly, social Jr. Puppies who are ready to start practicing their skills around other dogs.

Classes are led by Nikki Nordick, whose background in both training and behavior means she understands not just how Jr. Puppies learn, but what they need to succeed. We use positive reinforcement and reward that hard work with supervised off-leash playtime. Jr Puppies of all sizes work together based on age, and classes are held indoors.

Please note: Jr. Puppies must already be comfortable interacting with dogs and people before joining. A little unsure is okay, but if your Jr puppy is scared or reactive, please contact us to discuss other options.

What Jr Puppies Learn in Class

As puppies grow into teenagers, they often have more energy and curiosity, and Jr. Puppy Class gives them a structured place to put it to good use.

Each group class focuses on the skills that matter most during this stage, including leash manners, recall, sit, and stay. We also work on listening around movement and noise and settling on a mat, so your puppy can stay focused even when things get busy around them.

To keep learning fun, we also introduce tricks like spin, crawl, and roll over alongside the everyday skills.

Every class includes supervised off-leash socialization with mixed size puppies between 4 and 9 months old. You will leave each week with practical tips you can use at home.
