Dog Daycare
Join the learn and play fun at Airdrie Puppy Pals’ Doggy Daycare!
Our daytime program focuses on proactive training and enrichment for dogs who feel comfortable in mixed-size group settings.
How Daycare Works
Every day at Airdrie Puppy Pals is different and shaped by the individual dogs in our care.
Our playgroups are planned 24 hours in advance based on each dog's unique energy level, play style, and interactions with other dogs and our team. Some love to wrestle and chase, while others enjoy sniffing, exploring, or cuddling. Instead of setting strict human centered rules, our team operates on "dog standard time" and adjusts the day as needed to support comfort, safety, and enjoyment for everyone.
Outdoor breaks are part of the daily rhythm. Every Puppy Pal heads outside for on-leash bathroom breaks and If we notice any changes, loose poop etc. we'll let you know! We find this approach works better than a free-for-all in fenced yard settings.
Before pick-up time, we do head-to-toe touches that focus on gentle handling and support cooperative care—not just at Daycare, but at the veterinarian, groomer, and more.
More Than Play
Daycare at Airdrie Puppy Pals is so much more than free play. Because our background includes training and behavior education, we reinforce polite social skills and group manners throughout the day. We believe dogs do best when they feel understood, and families do best when they feel informed. That's why we take the time to get to know each dog and maintain open communication with the people who trust us with their care.
For families who may want a little extra enrichment, we offer optional add-ons during their daycare day:
Brain games
One-on-one training sessions
On-leash walks
Supervised field trips to the park
Baths and nail trims
Frozen Kongs and pup cups
Is Daycare the Right Fit?
To help keep dogs healthy and comfortable during their daycare day, we follow veterinarian-recommended vaccination guidelines and a few enrollment requirements.
Health & Age Requirements:
Puppies can start daycare at 16 weeks (*spay/neuter not required yet)
Dogs 8 month and older must be spayed/neutered.
Vaccinations:
Rabies vaccine
Kennel Cough vaccine
DA2PP vaccine
Behavior & Attendance:
Have never bitten a dog or human
Comfortable with mixed-size dogs
2 visits to daytime daycare every month
These requirements help us support positive group experiences, maintain safety, and ensure dogs feel comfortable and confident during their time with us.
Getting Started
All dogs begin daycare with an in-person Meet and Greet and playstyle assessment. This visit allows us to get to know your dog, introduce them to the space, and see how they interact with other dogs and our team.
During the Meet and Greet, we'll learn about your dog's personality, play style, and routine; observe their interactions; and answer your questions about daycare, scheduling, and expectations.
If daycare feels like a good fit, we'll help you plan your dog's first day and walk you through next steps.
We believe starting thoughtfully helps dogs feel comfortable and confident from the very beginning.
