Dog Daycare
Our dog daytime program focuses on proactive training and enrichment for dogs who feel comfortable in mixed‑size group settings. Puppy Pals spend their day playing, resting, and exploring at their own pace, supported by a team who understands dog body language and group dynamics.
We are proud to offer an award winning social environment where dogs can stay supported, engaged, happy, and themselves while you’re at work or away.
The Puppy Pals Difference
Every day at Airdrie Puppy Pals looks a little different because the dogs in our care shape the flow of the day. We plan our playgroups 24 hours ahead based on each dog’s energy level, play style, and how they interact with others. Some dogs love fast play and wrestling, while others prefer sniffing, exploring, or relaxing with a friend.
We pay close attention to how the group is feeling and make small adjustments throughout the day to keep things comfortable and safe. Our goal is always to support dogs in a way that feels natural to them.
Daily Rhythm and Care
Outdoor breaks are part of our regular routine. Every Puppy Pal heads outside for on leash bathroom breaks, and if we notice anything unusual such as loose stool or changes in behavior, we will let you know. We find this approach works better than a free for all in a fenced yard.
Before pick up, we do a gentle check in with each dog. It helps them get used to calm, everyday handling and makes the end of the day feel easy and relaxed.
Pricing & Enrichment Options
Daycare is a flat rate of $40 per dog, per day, plus GST, with a minimum commitment of two days per month. Our rates are reviewed annually in line with industry standards and may change.
Enrichment add‑ons range from $5 to $25. Depending on the day, these may include mental enrichment such as brain games or scent work, physical enrichment like agility‑style activities or guided movement, training support through one‑on‑one sessions or skill refreshers, outings and on‑leash walks, care extras such as baths, nail trims, frozen Kongs, or pup cups, and seasonal crafts or photos.

Meet and Greet: What to Expect
Every dog starts with an scheduled in‑person Meet and Greet and playstyle assessment at our facility in Kings Heights. This visit helps us make sure our daycare program and environment is a good two‑way family fit for your dog and also supports the comfort and safety of the dogs already in our care.
The appointment begins with a short conversation with you and our Daycare Manager, Shannon, to learn about your dog’s diet, allergies, training, and any handling notes. Once we have that information, we move into the playstyle assessment.
For the playstyle assessment, your dog joins us for an intentionally planned introduction with a few of our daycare dogs and Team Leaders.
If your dog isn’t fully comfortable at any point during the Meet and Greet or playstyle assessment, we don’t force it. We’ll talk through what we’re noticing and offer options that may suit them better.
If daycare feels like a good two‑way family fit, together we’ll choose an intentional first day of daycare that gives your dog the best possible start in our group environment.

Why Our Playrooms Are Staff‑Only
For the safety and comfort of the dogs in our care, we do not offer public tours of our playrooms. When new unfamiliar people enter the space, it can create excitement or stress and change the group dynamic. Keeping the playroom environment calm and predictable helps the dogs in our care feel secure.
Our daycare setup is built around prioritizing dog well‑being first. We share lots of photos and videos on our social media pages and Stories so you can still see what daycare looks like without disrupting the dogs.
We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us keep our playrooms predictable and low‑stress for all the dogs in our care.
Boarding for Current Puppy Pals
We offer limited overnight boarding for dogs who are already part of our daycare program. This helps keep the kenneling experience low‑stress and comfortable, since our daycare dogs already know our space, our team, and their playmates.
For dogs who are new to Puppy Pals, our standard process is to start with daytime daycare before discussing boarding or sleepovers. This gives them time to settle in, build a routine, and get to know us. After this settling‑in period, we do a short boarding assessment to make sure overnight care feels comfortable for them.
Ready to Get Started?
If dog daycare seems like it could be a good two‑way family fit, we’d love to meet you and your Puppy Pal. Our Meet and Greet with playstyle assessment helps us all get to know each other and make sure our environment feels right for your dog and the dogs already in our care before we schedule their first intentional day.
