Meet Your Trainer

All private training sessions and behaviour consultations are led by Nikki Nordick, owner of Airdrie Puppy Pals. With over a decade of hands-on experience and hundreds of hours of continuing education, Nikki brings both heart and science to her work.

The dog training industry is unregulated, which means anyone can call themselves a trainer regardless of their education or experience. That’s why Nikki has pursued third-party certifications through respected, independent organizations. These credentials require in-depth knowledge, practical experience and a proven commitment to ethical, science-based methods.

Her qualifications aren’t just letters — they represent years of learning, growth and verified expertise. Most importantly, they ensure that you and your dog receive modern, compassionate and trustworthy support.

Credentials include: Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), Certified Behavior Consultant Canine – Knowledge Assessed (CBCC-KA), Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC), Accredited Dog Trainer (ADT), Fear Free Certified Professional, Long-time Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT)
