Are you passionate about dogs, a hard worker, and enjoy being creative? Airdrie Puppy Pals is currently looking for dedicated Dog Care Specialists (Dog Handlers) to join our fun and energetic daycare team in Airdrie, Alberta!
Working with dogs isn't just cute photos, it's rewarding and challenging work. You’ll be actively engaging with the dogs, managing group behavior, teaching tricks, and ensuring the facility stays clean.
Job Responsibilities:
Hands-on Dog Care: Supervise, manage behavior, and maintain a clean, safe environment. (yes, dogs pee and poop!).
Creative Content Creation: Take engaging photos and videos, writing fun social media posts and unique client updates.
Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate positively with teammates, interact politely with clients, and effectively use our communication apps and client software.
Physical Demands: This is an active, physical role. You’ll be on your feet, bending, navigating stairs, and helping to maintain a clean and safe environment for the dogs.
Flexible Schedule: Shifts typically last 5 hours, beginning as early as 5:30 AM and ending by 9:00 PM. Everyone starts as part-time with three shifts a week and can progress to longer shifts and more hours after demonstrated success.
Ideal Candidate:
For our insurance all candidates must be over 18 and have graduated from High School
Comfortable around dogs of all shapes, sizes and energy levels.
Reliable transportation.
Outgoing, creative, friendly with excellent customer service skills.
