Our Story

Back in 2014, Nikki In 2014, Nikki noticed an absence of convenient off-leash times at their local dog park, despite Airdrie being home to over 10,000 licensed dogs. To address this, they began organizing community puppy play dates through a Facebook page. As they listened to the community's concerns, they realized they could provide a different, better approach to dog care. In summer 2014, Nikki, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Certified Behavior Consultant Canine, and Fear Free Professional, began offering dog walking and in-home pet sitting services.

Expansion & Growth

By October 2014, the team expanded with the hiring of Holly, now our longest-standing employee and team lead. One year later, in October 2015, Airdrie Puppy Pals Inc. opened its first facility next to a popular off-leash park, expanding our services to include dog daycare, boarding, and training. Fast forward to today, and we've opened a second facility due to high demand and are eagerly planning the opening of a third, a 12,000 square foot wellness center in November 2023. This expansion will allow us to continue providing the high-quality care and attention that every dog in our care deserves.
